Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a food and beverage production location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols and incidents.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a food and beverage production location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
