Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Control access to manufacturing and industrial areas, including restricted locations, while helping to deter unauthorized entry and reporting access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and documenting activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary throughout the facility.

What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
