Job summary

The Global Ambassador, part of Author & Edit Hospitality, is seeking a vigilant Security Associate to safeguard guests and property in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment.

You will patrol the hotel, monitor cameras, enforce policies, respond to incidents, assist guests, and coordinate with local authorities as needed. Evening shifts Thursday–Saturday required; professional appearance is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 4:30PM-12:30AM.
• Previous security experience in hospitality preferred.
• Knowledge of incident response protocols.
• Strong communication, reporting, and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and work varied shifts.
• De-escalation, self-defense, and restraint tactics a plus.
• Professional appearance and integrity are crucial.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel premises and respond to incidents and requests.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and access points.
• Enforce hotel policies, maintain order, and address disturbances.
• Respond to and document accidents, safety hazards, and security breaches.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests.
• Investigate suspicious activity and trespassing.
• Cooperate with local authorities regarding security matters.
• Perform security checks and maintain records.
