Overview

IPS Security Inc. is looking for Security Officers to join our team. Your role as a Security Officer will be to provide exceptional customer service to our clients and guests, monitor and report any activity, and collaborate with other staff members. To succeed in this role, you must have open availability, good communication skills both orally and written, and strong customer service skills.

Location and Schedule

• Location: Downtown, Manhattan
• Salary: $18.00 per hour
• Part-Time Schedules Available:
  • Sunday & Monday - 11:00pm to 7:30am
  • Friday & Saturday - 3:00pm to 11:30pm
  • Saturday & Sunday - 7:00am to 3:30pm

Responsibilities

• Respond to emails and organize shift reports professionally.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance.
• Be responsible and courteous to others.
• Organize and update lost & found logs and items.
• Exhibit great communication skills.
• Be friendly and respectful towards guests and staff at all times.
• Learn the maintenance of room safes and door hardware.
• Perform 2 daily building patrols per shift.
• Answer the office phone confidently and professionally.

• Ability to walk and stand for long periods.
