Security Officer

At Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our colleagues, guests, and visitors is an integral part of our operation. You will ensure the safety of your fellow employees, guests, and visitors. You are attentive, efficient, and committed, ensuring your property remains a safe, enjoyable workplace and travel destination.

What You Will Be Doing

• Ensure the overall safety and security of guests, employees, and property premises
• Investigate and report violations of law or property policy, accidents, complaints, criminal activity, and crisis situations
• Conduct regular floor patrols, cash counts, and crowd control
• Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way

Compensation: $24.94 per hour

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Relevant hospitality security experience is an asset
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficiency in English (oral & written)
• Experience in CPR, AED, First Aid training is an asset
• Knowledge of security concepts, practices, and procedures
• Basic understanding of computer operations
