Job summary

DSI Security Services is seeking a Security Officer in Macon, GA to protect client sites and maintain a safe environment. You will perform patrols, observe and report hazards, and interact professionally with clients and the public.

The role emphasizes attentiveness, safety, and strong customer service, with shifts available across First, Second, and Third rotation. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reliable transportation and means of communication preferred.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills required.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Must meet all preemployment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols.
• Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity.
• Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions.
• Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and timely.
• Participate in training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals.

As a Security Officer, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients, their employees, and the public. This role requires professionalism, attentiveness, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

• Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols
• Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity
• Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions
• Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and timely
• Participate in training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Reliable transportation and means of communication
• Basic to intermediate computer skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to conduct routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions
• Must meet all preemployment requirements
