Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Secret Clearance - Unarmed) in Gilbert, AZ. You will monitor facilities, perform patrols, and enforce access control while delivering customer service in an aerospace/defense setting.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required as part of employment per laws.
• Qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly per site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and track visitor activity as required.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation for supervision and site contacts.

As a Patrol Officer in a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. Pay Rate: $24.38 / Hour

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
