Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

• Background investigation required by law.

• Licensing requirements may be required per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, common areas, parking, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual activity per site procedures.
• Complete activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications as required.

As a Security Officer Patrol in Cambridge City, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents, guests, and staff with professional communication and customer service. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, maintain awareness of site conditions, and report unusual or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
