Security Officer - Full Time at Securitas, Inc. in Albuquerque, NM. Primary location is Albuquerque, NM with an overnight Fri-Mon shift from 0000 to 0800. Wage range is $16.00-$18.00 per hour.

The role involves access control, patrolling, and enforcing site regulations to maintain a safe environment. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED and strong customer service, vigilance, and teamwork. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401K, paid training, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Advanced computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Report writing skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property and scan checkpoints via VISION device.
• Camera monitoring.
• Activate and de-activate badges.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
