Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer X Ray Parcel Inspection in Indianapolis, IN. This full-time role involves operating screening equipment, monitoring access points, and ensuring a secure environment for logistics and distribution sites.

You will provide customer service while keeping security standards, with pay rate of $17.22 per hour and a night schedule Sunday through Thursday (Mon-Fri variants may apply). Training and career growth opportunities are offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site procedures.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and vehicles per access-control procedures.
• Monitor screening equipment and access points; report incidents and security concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of designated areas and perimeter.

As a Security Officer X Ray Parcel Inspection in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by operating screening equipment, monitoring access points, and observing packages and personnel for security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established access-control procedures.
• Monitor screening equipment, access points, and related activity; report prohibited items, irregularities, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, access points, loading areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
