Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Credential Verification) in Jacksonville, FL. You will patrol facilities, assist with access control, and deliver exceptional customer service to employees, patients, and vendors.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, monitoring entry points, and maintaining logs while following site policies. A positive, professional presence helps deter security issues in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, medical emergencies, and other critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as required by site policy; maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with staff and visitors and report maintenance or security concerns to leadership.

• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
