Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Sanford, NC, to safeguard clients across industries such as Food/Beverage. You will perform routine patrols, monitor areas, manage access, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, while delivering excellent service and teamwork.

Position is full-time with a pay rate of $15.65 per hour. The schedule runs days and nights across multiple shifts, supporting a culture built on integrity and quality service.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor activity, and reporting irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Observe and report conditions that may affect operations, including unsecured access points, equipment concerns, and/or unusual activity.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, manage access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
