Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain access logs.
• Screen and direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify site contacts and leadership as required.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and perimeter; report security concerns and policy violations.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to drivers, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Screen and direct vehicle, pedestrian, and delivery traffic in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted operational areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, operational areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, reporting security-related concerns and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
