Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Unarmed Security Officer in Norristown, PA to monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors.

Position Type: Part Time; Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour; Schedule: Fri and Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM. Work with a team guided by integrity and community safety values.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background and drug screening as required by law.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking facilities, entry points, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, maintaining logs and incident reports.
• Communicate with property management, tenants, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership on security matters.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and team members while supporting a welcoming environment. Job Schedule:

• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
