Job summary

The Washington Athletic Club is seeking a Security Officer to ensure a safe and welcoming environment by efficiently checking in members and guests. You will be responsible for monitoring access, directing attendees at events, and upholding security procedures in a premier Seattle club.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, reliable communication, and the ability to perform under shifting weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a customer service setting.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Security experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset.

OVERVIEW

The Security Officer ensures safety and a welcoming environment by efficiently checking in WAC members and guests.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Check in WAC members, entering their ID number into our system
• Help direct guests checking in for club events
• Maintain club security by visually monitoring the environment and checking security cameras
• Other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a customer service setting
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Security experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset.

PAY INFORMATION

• Pay: $27/hour

SHIFT INFORMATION

Friday & Saturday 11:00pm-7:00am- part-time
