Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of construction areas and access points to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian access, verify credentials, and maintain visitor and delivery records.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and follow site procedures, contacting emergency services when needed.
• Document patrols and incidents according to Allied Universal reporting requirements.

As a Security Officer - Overnight - Driving Patrol in Springfield, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. • Wed 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Thur 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Fri 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sat 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a transportation-related construction location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of construction areas, access points, parking areas, equipment storage locations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian access, verify credentials as directed by site policies, maintain visitor and delivery records, and report unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
