Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Surveillance in Wilmington, OH. This part-time role offers a $16.00/hour pay rate and flexible evening/night shifts to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to transportation location personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transportation facilities, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and vehicle or pedestrian traffic, verifying authorization in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities clearly and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
