Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Patrol – Overnights in Oregon, OH. This full-time role pays $19.04 per hour with weekly pay and benefits including 401K, medical and dental insurance, and days off.

You will perform routine unarmed patrols at a utilities site, monitor access points, and respond calmly to incidents. Minimum 1 year security experience, 18+ years old, HS diploma, and background/drug screening required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law; licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, equipment areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access control, visitor/contractor entry, and vehicle traffic per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; notify appropriate contacts or responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and activities in logs and reports.

As a Security Officer Patrol - Overnights in Oregon, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. You will report security-related concerns and respond professionally to site needs while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture with integrity and teamwork.

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, equipment areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, visitor and contractor entry, and vehicle traffic in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in required logs and reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
