Hyatt Regency Minneapolis is hiring a Security Officer for the overnight/3rd shift to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests and staff. You will patrol, monitor surveillance, respond to incidents, and assist with access control while upholding Hyatt's service standards.

The role requires overnight availability, strong communication skills, and the ability to stand for extended periods. Prior security or hospitality experience is a plus, with benefits beginning after a short

• Resume must be provided to be considered
• Proficient in basic computer skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• Prior experience in security preferred
• Previous hospitality experience is a plus
• Must have flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor hotel premises via patrols and surveillance systems to ensure safety and security
• Respond quickly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, or disturbances
• Assist with crowd control, lost and found, and access control
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, accidents, and daily activities
• Provide excellent service and support to guests and colleagues in a courteous and helpful manner
• Enforce hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a calm and respectful demeanor
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
• Assist with fire drills, evacuation procedures and first aid as needed

As aSecurity Officerat Hyatt Regency Minneapolis, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests, colleagues and visitors. Your presence will support the overall guest experience through proactive safety measures, conflict resolution, and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Compensation: $20/hour + Shift Differential (overnight only)
