As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and access control needs, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established utility location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to facilities and restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and daily documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
