Qualifications

• 6+ months security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required per Allied Universal policy.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer/tablet preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per federal/state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following site policies and procedures, including emergency responses when needed.
• Respond calmly to incidents and access concerns using site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry/exit activity for personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers.
• Document observations and incidents accurately and report to site contacts and leadership.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
