Allied Universal in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Security Officer - Night Shift Warehouse for a part-time role with flexible scheduling. You will provide access control, customer service to employees and visitors, and respond to incidents at a technology-focused corporate site.

The position offers a fixed anchor shift with an option to pick extra shifts through the scheduling platform, allowing earnings growth up to a full-time schedule if desired.

As a Security Officer - Night Shift Warehousein Phoenix, AZ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.73 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals in accordance with established site procedures.
• Respond to access‑related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrol of entrances, exits, lobby areas, parking facilities, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Document incidents, access discrepancies, and other security‑related observations accurately and promptly in accordance with site reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
