Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Afternoons in Chandler, AZ. This role offers reliable, flexible hours at a designated site with the option to earn more by taking extra shifts.

Pay rate is $23.00 per hour with a fixed anchor shift and a six-month commitment. You may pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings while supporting multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location, following security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas and report anomalies.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly following post orders.

As a Security Officer - Part Time Afternoonsin Chandler, AZ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
