Job summary

Mountaire Farms is seeking a security professional to safeguard personnel and facilities across our Delaware operations, patrolling at fixed stations and responding to incidents to prevent loss.

The role requires a High School diploma and 2+ years in security or related fields, plus a valid driver's license. You will work outdoors in all weather and support our safety and GOAL ZERO objectives.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Valid driver''s license and acceptable driving record.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Protect Mountaire Farms personnel and property, including patrolling areas.
• Control authorized access to company buildings and company property.
• Respond to emergencies and work long hours as needed.
• Work in all weather and stand for extended periods (2-3 hours).
• Follow safety policies and support the Goal Zero mission.

Responsible for facilitating a safe working environment for employees. Guard the personnel and property of Mountaire Farms against fire, theft, damage and destruction, pilferage, and/or malicious injury.

Primary Purpose

Responsible for facilitating a safe working environment for employees. Guard the personnel and property of Mountaire Farms against fire, theft, damage and destruction, pilferage, and/or malicious injury.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Protecting Mountaire Farms personnel and property, including patrolling areas from a fixed station, on foot or by vehicle.


• Control authorized access to company buildings and company property.


• Must be able to respond to emergency situations that may require working long hours and additional days as assigned by the Security and Plant Services Manager or his/her designee.


• Must be able to work in all elements of weather and temperatures, walk and stand for extended periods of time (up to 2-3 hours at a time).


• Follow all Company safety policies, S.O.P. regulations, as well as support the Goal Zero mission statement. Perform other duties as assigned by management to support operational and safety needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.


• Minimum 2 years of experience in security, law enforcement or relevant military experience is required.


• Acceptable Driving Record based on Mountaire's Non-Commercial Vehicle Policy and the ability to meet Mountaire Farms' requirements to operate a Company vehicle.


• Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
