Qualifications

• Possession of a Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply according to state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures and incident response.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouse spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify credentials, and document visitor and delivery activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, solution-oriented manner and escalate as needed.
• Complete detailed activity reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation.

As a Security Officer - Mornings - Full Time in Huntley, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Pay Rate: $16.35 / Hour

• Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouse spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying throughout the site.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; report observations and escalated concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed activity reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation while helping to deter unauthorized access and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
