Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Full Time, Overnight in Huntley, IL. You will patrol a manufacturing/industrial site, deter unauthorized activity, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining security routines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by enforcing site procedures and emergency protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report security concerns to site personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.

As a Security Officer - Full Time - Overnights in Huntley, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.35 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving locations, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report security-related concerns, hazards, or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
