Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Morning Flex in Gilbert, AZ. The role offers reliable, fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $21.00 per hour. This part-time schedule includes anchors (six-month commitment) and a Mon/Sun 6:00 AM–2:00 PM shift, with potential progression to a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21+ for armed roles) and have a HS diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by executing security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and notify appropriate personnel calmly and promptly.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, parking areas and loading docks.
• Monitor access points and supervise visitor, employee, and driver entry.
• Support safe movement of personnel and vehicles and report hazards.

As a Security Officer - Morning Flex in Gilbert, AZ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, trailer yards, loading docks, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and driver entry activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Support the orderly movement of personnel and vehicles around the location while reporting potential hazards, damaged property, or unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
