Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Wilmington, NC. You will monitor and patrol campus areas, deter incidents, provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors, and maintain a safe environment.

The role is full-time with a daytime schedule, paying $15.00 per hour. Requirements include at least 6 months of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks

Formación

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• License requirements may apply depending on state.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Wilmington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to routine security-related needs with integrity. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity and incident reports and maintain professional communication with campus stakeholders and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
