Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Omaha, NE. You will conduct driving and on-foot patrols, deter security incidents, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

The role requires a valid driver's license, being 18+, a high school diploma, and passing background and drug screening. This full-time position offers a $21.85 hourly pay, a daytime schedule with rotating shifts, and access to our Smart Tools and career growth

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government utility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with entry screening, credential verification, and visitor direction as assigned.
• Complete required reports, logs, and shift communications accurately and promptly while following Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
