As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Route Driver in Wayne, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Driving Patrol Officer at an educational location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with established procedures, helping to maintain an orderly learning environment.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
