Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to guests, tenants, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols throughout retail, warehouse, loading, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, delivery areas, and employee entrances; verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual activity, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
