Job Description

As a Security Officer - Overnight Operationsin Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; document and report observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership, site contacts, and emergency responders when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
