Job summary

Allied Universal in Blythe, CA seeks a part-time Security Officer Mobile Patrol to provide courteous customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with calm professionalism. You will work fixed anchor shifts at a designated site, with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings, up to about 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of court facilities, public areas, parking areas, building perimeters, and restricted locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points; observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency services when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain daily activity logs for incidents, patrols, observations, and security-related concerns.

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Blythe, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

DayTimeMon05:00 PM - 01:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
