Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer for a Medical Facility in Boulder, CO. This full‑time role involves protecting clients across industries, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a visible security presence on site.

The position requires patrolling, monitoring access, and responding to incidents per established protocols, with a focus on creating a welcoming and safe environment.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, data and telecommunications spaces, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency protocols.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related concerns.
