Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Health Facility in Denver, CO to protect patients, staff and visitors in a healthcare setting, delivering calm, professional service and quick response to incidents.

You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, assist with directions, document incidents, and cooperate with site leadership to uphold safety, privacy, and high service standards daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience preferred.
• Vaccination requirements for hospital settings must be met.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors following security procedures in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations calmly per site protocol.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facility interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeters.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, support access-control procedures, and provide directions or assistance to patients and visitors as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control or badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
