Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a medical company in Cambridge, MA. You will unarm securely patrol premises, monitor access, and deliver professional service to tenants and staff.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in customer service preferred.
Background check and drug screening will be conducted.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial office, laboratory-adjacent, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and access control issues.
Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
