Job Description

As a Security Officer - Media Site Patrol in Silver Spring, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. You will patrol designated areas, deter incidents, assist with access control, and provide excellent customer service. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, acting with integrity and putting people first.

Position Details

Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.21 / Hour

Schedule

Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and respond to emergencies.
• Respond calmly to incidents and maintain professionalism.
• Conduct patrols and monitor premises.
• Report security issues.
• Verify credentials and maintain visitor logs.
• Collaborate with team to ensure security.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable with computers or tablets (preferred).
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Experience with access control systems (preferred).
• Valid guard card or security license (preferred).
• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles, 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Licensing as per state/local laws.
• Driver’s license for driving positions.
