Allied Universal in New York, NY is seeking a Security Officer for a media company location to safeguard clients in a tech/media environment. The role involves monitoring and patrolling, maintaining a visible security presence, and supporting access control to deter incidents.

You will provide professional customer service, communicate with employees and visitors, and collaborate with a reliable Allied Universal team that values integrity, accountability, and innovation.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a media and technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, production areas, common spaces, parking facilities, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific procedures; document visitor activity, incidents, and other security-related observations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as required.
• Help maintain a professional presence that supports a welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized access and disruptive behavior.

As a Security Officer - Media Company Full Time in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic media and technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and collaborate with a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that acts with integrity.

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
