Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigations required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies, and assist with emergencies when needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, loading areas, parking, and perimeter to identify unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures to maintain orderly entry and exit.

As a Security Officer Loss Prevention in Minooka, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming, secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations while demonstrating Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven approach through teamwork.

What You'll Do:
