Allied Universal, North America's leading security provider, is hiring a Security Officer Driver in Elwood, IL. You will patrol the site, deter incidents, manage access and deliver outstanding customer service to logistics operations.

Responsibilities include routine and random patrols, verifying credentials, and supporting the movement of people and deliveries while ensuring safety and adherence to site policies. Full-time schedule and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and report access-control concerns.
• Support the orderly movement of personnel, visitors, and deliveries while maintaining awareness of security-related conditions throughout the site.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver in Elwood, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving Security Officer supporting a logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, assist with access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
