Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer - Logistics Access Control in San Antonio, TX. The role focuses on reliable, fixed shifts with optional extra shifts to boost earnings, and provides opportunities to gain experience within a leading security and facilities company.

Pay rate is $15.24 per hour, with schedules including Mon 7:00 AM–12:00 PM and Sun 5:00 PM–10:00 PM. A flexible, promotional path exists through our scheduling platform and site-based responsibilities.

As a Security Officer - Logitics Access Control in San Antonio, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 07:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Sun 05:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, delivery-related issues and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, contractors, and vehicles in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate areas as needed.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
