Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Lobby Services in Woonsocket, RI. You will greet patients, visitors, and staff at the front desk, manage access, and help maintain a secure environment in a healthcare setting.

This full-time role offers shifts including Tue–Sun 8am–4pm, pay rate of $17.01/hour, and benefits. You’ll respond to incidents, document daily activity, and provide professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by law.
• Criminal history considered per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk by greeting patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Manage visitor access by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials as applicable, maintaining entry records, and directing guests to appropriate areas of the healthcare location.
• Monitor front-desk activity, access points, and available systems to help identify and report unusual activity or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Support a welcoming and orderly healthcare environment by communicating professionally with diverse individuals and maintaining accurate daily activity documentation.

• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
