Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Lobby Reception in Saint Louis, MO. You will greet visitors, control access, monitor systems, and respond to alarms to maintain a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Monitor lobby activity, access control systems, cameras, alarms, and communications equipment; report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations calmly and follow procedures.
• Answer calls, provide directions and site information, and coordinate with facility staff and emergency responders.

What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
• Monitor lobby activity, access control systems, cameras, alarms, and communications equipment; report unusual activity or security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established response procedures.
• Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general site information, and coordinate with facility staff, management, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
