Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Reception in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence for employees, visitors, and clients. You will monitor access, verify credentials, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with onsite teams. Pay Rate: $19.32 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Tue 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Wed 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Thur 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Fri 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, employees, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.

• Manage visitor access by verifying identification, maintaining visitor logs, issuing credentials as authorized, and directing guests to appropriate areas within the location.
• Monitor entry activity, access-control systems, alarms, and communications equipment from a stationary post; report irregularities and escalated concerns according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, deliveries, and access-related events while supporting a professional, welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
