Job Description

Allied Universal is currently hiring a part-time Security Officer/Receptionist for a pharma company in Cambridge, MA. Shifts are Monday - Friday, 3 PM - 7 PM. Starting pay is $21.25/hour, with paid orientation and training. Candidates must have at least 1 year of security experience. As a Security Lobby Receptionist, you will serve and safeguard clients across various industries, including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by implementing safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities
• Respond calmly and effectively to incidents and critical situations
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises, with environments varying by client site

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Must pass background check and drug screening as per law
• State/local licensing requirements may apply
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions
