Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Lobby Patrol Control Access in Brooklyn, NY. You will provide customer service to tenants, visitors and vendors while patrolling and monitoring access.

The role emphasizes calm response to incidents, reporting, and collaboration with site management. Eligible candidates must hold NYS Security Guard license and meet age/education requirements; background check and drug screen apply.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related concerns in required reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

• Thur 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Fri 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sat 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM
