Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Lobby Checkpoint in Woonsocket, RI. You will staff a healthcare front desk, manage access, greet patients and staff, and respond to security situations while maintaining a welcoming, professional presence.

Day-to-day duties include verifying credentials, logging visitors, and coordinating with clinical teams and responders to maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service at a healthcare front desk by greeting visitors, patients, staff, and vendors while following site-specific access procedures.
• Monitor entry activity, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor logs, and direct individuals to appropriate departments or waiting areas.
• Respond to security-related incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
• Communicate with healthcare personnel, site management, and emergency responders regarding security-related concerns, access issues, and incident information.
• Maintain a professional, courteous presence that helps to deter unauthorized access and supports an orderly healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
