Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Woonsocket, RI to protect clients across healthcare locations and more. You will monitor and patrol designated areas, maintain a visible presence, provide exceptional customer service, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, disturbances, and facility access concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and help maintain appropriate access control for authorized personnel, patients, visitors, and deliveries.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.

Pay Rate: $17.01 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat, 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun, 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:
