Allied Universal in Baytown, TX is hiring a Security Officer Licensed Driver Patrol for a part-time, driving-post role at a chemical/petrochemical site. You will monitor and patrol designated areas, verify entry, provide customer service, and respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies with a calm, solution-focused approach.

Required: valid driver’s license in the state and proof of HS diploma or GED; 18+ years old; background check and drug screen; access control experience preferred.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, administrative buildings, parking areas, gates, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry authorization for personnel, visitors, and deliveries, documenting observations, activities, and/or incidents according to site protocols.
• Support traffic and pedestrian control at the location, report hazards or maintenance concerns to the appropriate site representatives, and assist with evacuations, shelter-in-place events, and/or other emergency procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
