Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Decker Dr. in Baytown, TX. This unarmed patrol officer will conduct routine patrols, control access, and provide customer service to personnel, contractors and visitors at a chemical/petrochemical site.

A valid driver's license is required and you must be at least 18 years old. Schedule includes Wed 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM, Thu 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM, Fri 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM, Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM. Position type: Full Time. Pay rate: $14.00 / Hour.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license in the job state is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors and visitors by site-specific security procedures and access requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations following reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings and perimeter to identify hazards or unauthorized activity.

Job Description

Security Officer - Decker Dr. in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in the job state. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, unusual conditions and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, parking areas and the perimeter to help identify and report unauthorized activity, hazards or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and maintain accurate visitor, contractor and vehicle entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Document patrol observations, incidents and shift activities in required reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
